Schlumpf was turned into the clinic as a Stray...
...but we rather assumed he became to cumbersome to his owner due to his handicap.
It was likely an untreated fracture, that caused his motoric disfunction and turned him into a ProblemChild....
...Schlumpf grew to the heart of every DCC staff member.
Soon we noticed, that his crippled leg became more and more of a burden to Schlumpf, so we decided for an amputation.
Schlumpf rode the surgery well and we were in good faith, that he would be mobile again in no time soon...
...but he had a very severe allergic reaction on an antibiotic and in spite of all our efforts he passed away -
