How can you do that to a loyal dog!? When the owners went back to their home country, they simply left their pet behind. In a cage, barely big enough to even turn around, chained on a rusty chain. The rain lashed in from the sides. There was no food.
With maggot wounds on the legs and at the end of her strength - that's how Arame came to us when a neighbor finally took pity and freed the rottweiler. Arame weighed just 17kg. She was skin and bones. It was a tough fight but Arame didn't give up. She is now back to normal weight and enjoying life in the clinic. Since her bad past has certainly left its mark, we will take care of her forever.
Update July 2023: Sadly, Arame was still caught up by her bad past. Much too early she died of kidney failure at the age of only 3 years. We would have wished her many more happy years, but as a pedigree dog she was certainly born sick.
