Poor Carmelo was found on the street in a completely neglected condition.
As a pedigree dog, he most likely once had a home, but at some point he must have become too expensive, too sick, or simply too inconvenient for his owner. Sadly, we encounter such cases every day at the clinic. Like many others, Carmelo is a heartbreaking testament to human irresponsibility.
Carmelo suffers from severe skin problems: agonizing itching, parasite infestation, and on top of that, a painful fungal infection. He must have endured terrible suffering. At our clinic, we immediately began his treatment. Now he is receiving loving care, high-quality food, and the necessary medication to help him regain his strength.
Since Carmelo is an abandoned pedigree dog, he is not adapted to life on the streets and would continue to face serious problems there. That is why he will remain permanently in our care at the DCC.
To ensure we can cover the costs of his care in the long run, we are looking for sponsors.
