Felice was heartlessly abandoned near our Cow Area at only six months of age.
Frightened and malnourished, we found the little dog girl cowering in the bushes. No one knows what she had already gone through by then…
After her first medical treatment, it fortunately turned out that Felice had no serious illnesses. This meant she was soon able to be integrated into one of the packs on the grounds of the Dog Care Clinic.
Originally, we wanted to place Felice with a local family through our ReHome program. Unfortunately, no one showed interest in the lovable dog – and before long she was considered “too old” in Sri Lanka to still be adoptable.
But Felice loves “her” people at the Dog Care Clinic with all her heart. That’s why we decided that she will be allowed to stay with us forever.
Felice has found her home with us because we opened our hearts to her.
