Delfina was only about four weeks old when she was abandoned in front of our clinic. Delfina was not placed in a cardboard box by the roadside, as is usually the case, but was thrown into the bushes by a passing scooter. Absolutely brutal! The fact that the little puppy didn't suffer any serious injuries is nothing short of a miracle.
We took poor Delfina in and nursed her back to health. When she was finally adopted at the age of three months, we were delighted. Everything was fine during our check-up visit shortly afterwards. But then, a month later, she was suddenly returned. The mother of the young man who had adopted Delfina didn't want the dog. And so she forced her son to give Delfina back to us. Cold-heartedly, the fresh happiness was simply destroyed.
Delfina is now back with us and will probably not be lucky enough to find a family again. To continue to look after her, we are now urgently looking for sponsors!
