Dora

Name: Dora
Breed: Mix
Gender: Male
Age: ca 3 years and 10 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 7 months
Description:

Dora was brought to us in a condition that shook us to the core: his head was covered in horrific, maggot-infested wounds – a heartbreaking sight we won’t forget anytime soon.
We don't know how long this poor soul had already endured such agony. But judging by the severity and extent of his injuries, one thing is painfully clear: Dora suffered in silence for far too long.

Why didn’t anyone bring him to us sooner? Why did it have to come to this? We simply can't understand it. The Dog Care Clinic is here for every animal – 365 days a year. We help without asking questions, regardless of where a dog comes from. No animal is ever turned away. And if someone is in need, we cover the treatment costs entirely.

And yet, we see it happen time and again: animals are only brought in when it’s almost too late. Dora was no exception. His owner waited until the stench of the infected wounds became unbearable. That Dora had already been suffering unimaginable pain for a long time apparently didn’t matter.

But that will never happen again. Dora will not be going back to that person. The risk of him being neglected once more is simply too great.

Instead, a new chapter begins for our sweet boy – a life of safety, comfort, and companionship within a wonderful pack. He will never again go hungry or suffer in silence. Now, he can finally just be a dog – cared for, protected, and loved.

To make this new life possible for Dora, we are still looking for kind sponsors to accompany him on his journey.
