Elfie was brought to the DCC by our catcher team – severely malnourished and apparently having given birth some time ago.
Our team thoroughly searched the area where she was found, but unfortunately there was no sign of Elfie’s puppies. Whether the little dog, in her weakened condition, had even been able to provide her puppies with enough milk remains uncertain.
We took the sweet little girl into our care, gave her a thorough health check and provided her with high-quality, nutritious food. Elfie soon regained her strength and was eventually able to join one of our packs on the DCC grounds.
Here with us, Elfie has now found a new home. She can finally rest, learn to trust again and simply be a dog. We provide her with everything she needs: good food, loving care, the medical attention she requires and, above all, lots of love.
To ensure that we can continue to give Elfie a life of safety and security for many years to come, we are still looking for kind-hearted people who would like to sponsor her.
Perhaps Elfie has touched your heart, too?
She would be truly grateful for your support.
