We found Kaba and her siblings huddled fearfully under our ambulance tuk-tuk in the garage. The little puppies had been abandoned in front of our clinic heartlessly. We can only hope that there weren't more puppies, because we only discovered the three of them. The siblings were still very frightened after being taken in.
But they soon gained new self-confidence and integrated well into our puppy pack. We were delighted when one by one they were all adopted and found a home. But on the same day that Kaba was adopted, she was returned to us. She would scream too much... we would have liked to scream out loud too, but we took Kaba back in. She probably wouldn't have been happy with the family anyway.
Now Kaba is back with us and it is uncertain whether anyone will like her as a brown girl...
