Modo

Name: Modo
Breed: Mix
Gender: Male
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog for: 13 years and 3 months
Description:

Modo was dropped at our gate in January 2011.
He was severely handicapped as his paws were crippled.

Modo's head and shoulders were like those of a normal grown-up dog, but from his trunk down, his body wwas underdeveloped and totally stiff. At the beginning, he could not move an inch...

Mid of February 2011 he started living with the clinic pack and made his first few steps. Some weeks later he started playing with the puppies.

Happily, we didn't have to euthanize him !
However, he was dependent on our help for the rest of his life.Modo in August 2012 with his best friend Bella.
<link record:tx_kbdogsponsor:tx_kbdogsponsor_domain_model_dog:1080>Bella was handicapped, too...

But the two of them were very active and enjoyed their lives so much. Every day was another proof for us to never give in - even in hopeless cases.

So, Modo had become kind of a mascot for the project.

In June 2020, we had to let go of our beloved friend. RIP Modo, we will never forget you!
