As a puppy, Nalani wandered along the dangerous coastal road in southern Sri Lanka. She could have been run over at any moment. It was immediately clear that this was not a safe environment for a small, lonely puppy and so Nalani came to us. Although she was in a generally good condition and could have been placed immediately after deworming and vaccination, no one was interested in her. As a brown female, she is of no value to most people here. So Nalani grew up without finding a family.
We integrated her into one of our packs, where she will now probably stay forever as a resident.
We are urgently looking for sponsors to be able to look after her for the rest of her life.
