Pinky has never known a loving home. Her previous owners kept the Labrador on a chain far too short, which had already cut deeply into her flesh.
It is hard to imagine the pain Pinky had to endure for such a long time. We took the gentle dog in immediately and began treating her wounds without delay. Since her owners were clearly unable to care for her properly, they fortunately agreed that Pinky may stay with us permanently.
In the meantime, Pinky has recovered well and will soon be integrated into one of our packs on the DCC grounds.
Now she only needs one more thing to be truly happy: caring people who support her through a monthly sponsorship.
