Pino was just a small puppy when we discovered him during one of our feeding tours – completely alone, frightened, and disoriented, running in the middle of a busy highway. It was pure luck that we happened to be there at exactly the right moment and were able to bring him to safety in time.
During his initial examination, his poor health condition was immediately apparent – especially his skin, which was severely affected. We began intensive treatment right away.

Pino responded well and, over time, grew into a strong and beautiful young dog.
Before long, he found a new home with a local family through our ReHome program. But during one of our regular follow-up visits, we discovered that he was being kept in a cage – isolated and without proper care. We didn’t hesitate and brought him back to the Dog Care Clinic.
A few months later, Pino was given another chance at a better life: a family who had moved abroad showed great interest and adopted him. For a moment, it seemed that happiness was finally within reach.
But unfortunately, it didn’t last. After several months, we were informed that the family had returned to their home country – and had simply abandoned the two dogs. Half-starved and once again traumatized, Pino was brought back to us. This time, the decision was clear and final: Pino would never again be let down or left behind.
Since then, he has lived permanently at the Dog Care Clinic. Here, he receives everything he needs – nutritious food, medical care, and most importantly: love, safety, and affection.
Pino can finally live the life he always deserved.
Would you like to help him hold on to this happiness?
By becoming a sponsor, you not only give him security, but also the reassurance that there are people he can truly rely on.
Pino would be so grateful!
