The Dalmatian female Shari was surrendered to our clinic by her owner. Upon her arrival, the full extent of the neglect she had endured for years became evident: Shari was suffering from several deep wounds already infested with maggots, as well as Demodex mites and babesiosis. Her condition was life-threatening, and for a long time it was uncertain whether she would survive the severe consequences of years of neglect.

But Shari fought. The intensive medical treatment began to take effect, and the loving, patient care provided by our team supported her every step of the way back to life. Gradually, Shari regained her strength and began to recover.
Shari’s owner finally agreed to let her stay with us – a great stroke of luck for this beautiful dog, who had apparently received very little care in her previous “home.” Shari has now found a new home with a local family. Nevertheless, we will continue to support Shari throughout her life. This means that we will regularly check to make sure she is doing well with her new family, provide medical treatment whenever necessary, and ensure her overall well-being. To help cover the resulting costs, we depend on kind-hearted people who support us through sponsorships.
