On one of our tours, we discovered an emaciated female dog with three small puppies. We immediately realized that we had to rescue them, otherwise they would have had no chance at all.
The little puppies were already very weak and unfortunately one of them died shortly after admission. The other two grew up to be healthy, bright young dogs. Unfortunately, neither of them were adopted. Due to a lack of space at the clinic, we finally decided to place Flapsy in our DCC 50+ program. Here he has found a loving home with a family in need. They look after Flapsy and we pay them a monthly pension. Of course, this involves high costs for us, but the DCC 50+ program is a real win-win situation: we have space in the clinic for new patients, the family has a steady income and a new friend at their side. In this way, Flapsy has found a great home.
