Because of her skin cancer, Linora had a large tumor. She lived on a temple site and the monk there asked us for help. When we got there, she crawled into the far corner of the temple grounds.
At first she was very shy with us, but then quickly opened up. We were able to successfully remove the tumor in an operation and decided to keep her with us. Obviously, she was not being properly looked after on the temple grounds. Otherwise the tumor would not have grown that big.
Since our space is limited, we put her in our DCC 50+ program in October 2020. She was adopted by a poor local family. The family receives a monthly pension from us for the care Linora and of course we carry out all treatments free of charge. We make monthly control visits to make sure that Linora is doing well. The DCC 50+ is a real success concept.
As a sponsor, you not only support Linora, but also her family in need.
