Moka was still tiny when she was discovered on the street together with eight (!) siblings. The little ones were full of fleas, dehydrated and some were even wounded. They would not have stood a chance on the street. Taking in nine dogs at once was a huge challenge for us, but we actually got all the puppies through! While we were able to successfully place Moka's siblings, Moka was the only one left behind. As a brown female, she had poor chances of getting adopted.
We kept Moka with us on the clinic grounds and looked after her. Unfortunately, she suddenly fell ill in February 2024. Blood tests showed very poor kidney values and our treatments unfortunately brought no improvement.
Run free, Moka. We wish we would have had more time together....
