What had been done to poor Clinton?
The owners had probably purchased him from a backyard breeder when he was still a little puppy. He was taken away from his mother far too young. He lacked all the essential nutrients from his mother's milk to grow strong and healthy.
As he grew up and got older, he fell ill and his family got tired of looking after him. They threw him on the street like an old piece of furniture that was no longer needed.

We found Clinton when we were catching dogs to neuter and vaccinate. He was still too weak and too sick to be neutered. He had babesiosis and demodicosis. He also suffered from severe skin irritations and the albino eyes indicate a high risk of skin cancer. He may also be visually impaired.
Clinton is now safe and will remain under our protection forever! We finally placed him in our DCC50+ program, where he is lovingly cared for by a family in need. In return, the Sinhalese family receives a monthly pension from us. We continue to closely monitor Clinton’s health and visit him every three to four weeks.
Unfortunately, Clinton’s health condition requires ongoing supervision. Therefore, we brought him back to the clinic and were able to place him in one of our packs. Here, he feels comfortable and is receiving proper medical care.
